fruit that remains

I was chatting with a friend earlier this month when i found out that his dad was prayed for by my granduncle who went on to be bishop and then bishop emeritus.

This is what he shared:

About 50 years ago, in 1948, the Bishop Emeritus Kao prayed for my dad, and instant healing took place
. My dad got born again that day.

He was an national athelete from Gan Eng Seng Secondary School.
When he was 20, he contracted TB. His smoking at that time made it worse. Having been exposed to Christian influence all his life, he could only think of going to church to seek help when the doctors told him the condition will stay with him. So he went from church to church.

At Paya Lebar Methodist Church, Rev Chew
invited him to a young persons service where the Rev Kao (this was before he became bishop) was there too. So he prayed for my dad. My dad repented and decided to change his life.

One week later
, the doctor said the traces of TB just vanished. At that time, the doctors who were not so medically advanced, worried that it may be cancer or something worse, but my dad - merely a baby born again christian said with faith: "no, God has healed me", and refused to go for the cancer tests.

He's 72 this year - with no cancer...no nothing. He's fit as a fiddle. Praise the Lord!

That's such a beautiful testimony of God's testimony. He heals and His work of healing is complete, perfect, that 50 years later, this person is walking in divine health! I'm so glad that my friend shared with me.

John 15:16a
16You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last.

This fruit of salvation and healing remained! All Glory To GOD!
