precious God-moments

I spent 3 hours yesterday catching up with a good friend who is a missionary. We talked and laughed about so many things in the past, present and future.

I see God's hand in her life, and how she has matured and grown in the Lord as she serves Him and the people in the nation she and her husband are sent to. We talked and talked till we forgot the time, and she was late for her next appointment.

What was most enjoyable and beautiful about our time together was talking about God-moments in our lives:

1. how God brought us together 8 years ago
   
2. how our relationship changed from a special, unique mentoring relationship to a precious, treasured friendship
3. how God spoke to us about the 'next steps' in our lives, and others around us - whether through dreams, visions or other people
   
4. how he helped us understand our role as wives
   

I'm blessed and contented, just thinking about His goodness.
